Viadrina Debate

With the Viadrina Debate, the European University Viadrina presents itself as a place for debating socially relevant issues of the future - both regionally and nationally. Current issues are discussed at the Viadrina Debate from a pan-European and, in particular, Eastern European perspective. At the start of every semester, the series brings together experts, students and interested members of the public in a forum for critical discourse and promotes exchange between academia and civil society.

The first Viadrina Debate entitled "AI and power shifts: who wins, who loses?" took place on 15 October in the Audimax of the European University Viadrina. The recording of the event (in German) is now available. The event marks the start of the series, which from now on will take place in the beginning of every semester.
