The Erasmus+ programme can be used to fund teaching visits by lecturers from Viadrina's partner universities in Erasmus programme countries in other European countries, and via the Erasmus+ KA 171 programme also from universities in "non-programme countries" with which Viadrina has cooperation agreements. These are currently four Ukrainian, one Georgian, one Kosovan and three Guinean universities.

Additional funding for academics with children (“actual costs application”)
Researchers undertaking their mobility together with their child or children may apply for additional funding from the German Academic Exchange Service National Agency (NA DAAD) to cover extra costs incurred during their stay abroad (“actual costs application”).
Eligibility: The additional funding is intended to cover individual extra costs directly related to the mobility period that are not covered by any other national funding source. Eligible expenses may include additional travel costs or expenses for childcare and support personnel. If the additional funding is approved, all extra costs must be documented with original receipts. Please therefore retain all relevant supporting documents and submit them after the mobility period.
Application Procedure
Applications for this additional funding can be submitted after receiving approval for a regular Erasmus+ KA171 grant, but before the start of the mobility period. Retroactive funding is not possible. To ensure timely approval of the funding, applicants are advised to contact the Erasmus+ Coordinator (Ana Retsch) at an early stage. The coordinator can provide guidance on funding opportunities and support applicants throughout the application process.
Additional Funding for Researchers with Disabilities or Chronic Illnesses (“Actual Costs Application”)
