The European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continuously improve user-friendliness for all and apply the appropriate accessibility standards.
This declaration on digital accessibility applies to the websites of the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) published at https://www.europa-uni.de.
As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we endeavour to make our websites accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Brandenburg Disability Equality Act (BbgBGG) and the Brandenburg Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BbgBITV) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

Enforcement procedure
If you receive an unsatisfactory response or no response from the above-mentioned contact option within a period of three weeks, you can contact the Enforcement Centre for Digital Accessibility of the State of Brandenburg to check the information and measures specified in the accessibility statement. According to Section 4 (3) BbgBITV, the enforcement centre has the task of enforcing the right of citizens to accessible websites and mobile applications vis-à-vis public bodies in the State of Brandenburg.
The enforcement body checks the applicability of an enforcement procedure from a formal and content-related perspective and, in individual cases, orders a technical review of the website or mobile application by the Monitoring Centre for Accessibility of Web and Application Technologies in the State of Brandenburg. The enforcement procedure is free of charge. No legal assistance is required.
