The Viadrina Founders Centre offers students, researchers and graduates free support on their path to self-employment.

We help with the creation of business plans, invite you to practical workshops and networking events and provide valuable contacts to partners from politics and business. Whether you are looking for funding or have legal questions - our experienced team is on hand with help and advice to ensure that your start-up idea gets off to a successful start!

Awards and honours

We have been honoured! The European University Viadrina has already been honoured five times with 1st place in the BPW's university ranking "Ideenschmiede" - as the most active start-up university in Brandenburg. We also regularly occupy top positions in the Stifterverband's start-up radar. These successes show: Promoting start-ups is a top priority for us!

FoundHERs Academy - EXIST Women

The FoundHers Academy @ Viadrina is an innovative support programme developed by EXIST Women specifically for women interested in starting a business. The aim of the programme is to provide comprehensive support for women in the pre-start-up phase - from brainstorming to business development.

The European University Viadrina has been a member of the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) since November 2023. The working area "Developing ERUA's Social Entrepreneurship" aims to integrate social innovation and entrepreneurial approaches into the curriculum and activities of the alliance universities. The aim is to sensitise and empower students and teachers for social entrepreneurship by providing the knowledge, skills and networks necessary to tackle social challenges in a creative and sustainable way.
