Associations

Through six international networks, Viadrina is integrated into overarching European and global alliances. These include the European Reform University Alliance, the worldwide International Network of Universities, and the global International Association of Universities (IAU). Since 2017, the European University Viadrina has been a member of Scholars at Risk (SAR) – an international network of universities and educational institutions that works worldwide to protect researchers at risk and to promote academic freedom. Furthermore, the European University Viadrina is a signatory to the ‘Magna Charta Universitatum Observatory of Fundamental University Values and Rights’ and a member of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) network.
