Research Activities

Research at Viadrina takes place in small and large, individual and collective work contexts, but always in concrete "projects". Projects are either publicly funded in the framework of university structures or third-party funded by various funding organisations.

The Viadrina communicates its research findings in a wide variety of academic and popular media. They are reflected in the 'large' humanities monograph, in the 'classic' legal textbooks and major commentaries, in peer-reviewed international journals, in editorships of print and online anthologies, and in a wide range of popular science publications.

The annual reports provide information on Viadrina’s profile and priorities, as well as its reform program for the coming years. They outline Viadrina’s activities in the areas of research and career development, as well as teaching and student affairs, knowledge transfer, and internationalization.
