Actively shaping the digital society.
The European New School of Digital Studies (ENS) is a transdisciplinary teaching and research institution focusing on digitalisation and located in Słubice, Poland, at the Collegium Polonicum. It combines economic and social sciences, politics, and law with technical expertise to explore the impact of the digital transformation on European societies. The ENS study concept is based on close collaboration between students and academic staff in teaching, team-based projects, and everyday work. A dedicated Coworking Space, innovative teaching methods and small courses enable students to develop and drive their own projects.
Study Programmes
Master of Digital Entrepreneurship (M.A.)
The Master of Digital Entrepreneurship (MoDE) is jointly offered by the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and Adam Mickiewicz University Poznań. Taught entirely in English, the program is open to students from all faculties and attracts participants from around the world to this dynamic German-Polish academic hub.
This interdisciplinary, project-based degree program approaches digitalization from the perspectives of law, economics, social sciences, and computer science. Students benefit from an international learning environment and have the opportunity to earn a dual German-Polish degree.
Graduates of the MoDE are equipped to critically reflect on complex challenges of the digital society in a rigorous and transdisciplinary manner. They acquire the methodological and entrepreneurial skills needed to develop and implement innovative business concepts, while gaining hands-on experience working on projects in diverse teams.
With this qualification, graduates are well prepared to actively shape digital transformation—whether by pursuing their own entrepreneurial ventures or by taking on leadership and management roles in politics, business, and civil society.
Master of Digital Studies (M.A.)
Digital platforms shape public debate, algorithms influence political processes, and AI systems are transforming work and everyday life. Digital technologies are fundamentally reshaping societies across Europe and around the world — at a time marked by armed conflicts, the climate crisis, geopolitical power shifts and increasingly polarised debates. Understanding and actively shaping these complex dynamics requires critical, theoretically grounded thinking that transcends disciplinary boundaries.
The Master’s programme in Digital Studies equips you to analyse and critically interrogate the interplay between digital technologies, media, culture and politics. You will develop in-depth theoretical knowledge and methodological expertise in Science and Technology Studies (STS), Media and Communication Studies, complemented by perspectives from Cultural Studies, Law and Economics.
With its interdisciplinary design and fully English-language curriculum, the programme prepares you for an academic research career as well as for knowledge-based roles in politics, civil society, media organisations and technology-driven industries.
