Financing and competitions

The BPW is the largest regional start-up competition in Germany and supports founders with free workshops, prize money and feedback.

The German Innovation Award honours outstanding, forward-looking innovations from German companies, including in the Start-Ups category.

Start-up teams can apply for the EXIST start-up grant via Viadrina and receive up to 12 months of financial support to develop their business plan with the support of the university and bring their innovative, technology-orientated or knowledge-based business idea with clear unique selling points to start-up maturity.

A Germany-wide competition for start-ups in which innovative information and communication technologies are a central component of the product or service.
