Panellists at the first Viadrina Debate

Panel guests at the first Viadrina Debate

With the Viadrina Debate, the European University Viadrina presents itself as a place of debate on socially relevant future topics - regionally and nationally.

The Viadrina is a university of short distances and direct contact. At the Viadrina Debate, Viadrina students, researchers and employees as well as the public can come into direct contact with public intellectuals and discuss with each other. The following people will be guests on 15 October 2025:

Prof. Dr Lena Ulbricht

Lena Ulbricht holds a Professorship in Political Science with a focus on "Digitalisation and Politics" at the University of Hildesheim.

In her current research, she focuses on the transformation of statehood in the digital age, the regulation of gaming platforms and the role of civil society in technology regulation. She is also co-host of the intersectional feminist technology podcast "Purple Code".
