Social change in the region

The field of action "Social Change in the ERUA Regions" aims to connect universities with stakeholders from their regions and thus bring together academic and non-academic stakeholders in cross-sectoral teams. Together, these teams will address global societal challenges and thus contribute to shaping a fairer, more open and inclusive society aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Concrete steps include:

• Building and supporting interregional knowledge communities through joint events and an online platform
• Supporting sustainable creative and interregional knowledge communities by creating a joint roadmap
• Conception, organisation and implementation of own event formats (e.g. Science Cafés, iDeaThons, HackaThons) and two biennials "Art and Edges" (2025 and 2027)

• Inputting your own topic suggestions for the above-mentioned event formats
• Participation in the events; opening up the network to other partners from the region
