SPTK 2026: Writing Futures - Rethinking writing together
SPTK 2026
14–16 September 2026
The Student Peer Writing Tutors’ Conference (SPTK) is a dynamic forum for exchange, which will take place in 2026 at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). From 14 to 16 September 2026, we will bring together students, writing tutors, lecturers and researchers to shape the future of academic writing. We do not view writing as a mere technique, but as a social and relational practice. In an era of profound change driven by digitalisation and AI, we ask: How can we use writing to create new forms of belonging and participation? The conference is based on the concept of Relationship-Rich Education – because learning and writing emerge from relationships. The conference is free of charge! You are responsible for your own travel, meals and accommodation.

- Collaborative sessions & Experimental contributions: Open formats for creative approaches and collective writing practices.
- Fishbowl discussions: Dynamic exchange between experts and audience at eye level.
