Allocation of remaining places for stays abroad EU and non-EU
Second application round 2026/27 - is over!
From 12 February 2026
- The list of remaining places for the 2nd round will be released: 12 February 2026.
- Deadline for the 2nd round: 26 February 2026, 11:59pm.
All information on the procedure can be found on our application webpage.
Your applications should include the following information, that need to be uplouded in the application portal:
- Motivation Letter (1 to a max. of 2 A4 pages, in German or English, according to your preference). Please address the following points:
- List at least 2-3 courses you would like to attend at each of your desired universities (if necessary, refer to current or past course lists for guidance)
- Choice of study location
- Financing for your study abroad
- Do you speak the language of instruction, or will you achieve proficiency by the time of application at the partner university?
- Curriculum Vitae (in German or English, according to your preference)
- Transcript of Records
Please upload the PDF file from viaCampus, including all grades available at the time of application. Master’s students should also submit their bachelor's degree certificate, including the grade. - Proof of Language Proficiency
PDF excerpt "Language Center Achievements" from viaCampus; additional certificates, if available - Certificate of Enrollment (current semester)
This is mandatory for Viadrina students. If you are not yet enrolled, please submit this document later. - ID-Card or Passport (page with your name and nate of birth)

Third application round 2026/27 - "First come, first served"
From 13 April 2025 10:00 - "First come - First served"
Release of remaining places list: approx. 25 March 2026 here below.
Application start: on 13 April 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
Deadline: You can apply as long as the deadline for nomination at the partner university has not passed!
Procedure: The procedure follows the "First Come - First Served" principle. As soon as the application period starts, you can apply directly and exclusively by e-mail at outgoing-application@europa-uni.de for one of the remaining places.
Your application should include the following information:

Note: Please note that the list of remaining places will be available for viewing from around 25 March, but applications by e-mail only will not be possible from 13 April at 10:00 am. Please do not apply via our online portal. This is only possible after acceptance by e-mail in the third application round.
