Representatives of the three student councils (FSR Jura, FSR Kuwi and FSR Wiwi) will pick you up from Frankfurt (Oder) train station on 7 April 2026 and show you the approximately 15-minute walk to the campus in the city centre.

    At the info market, all student councils, various student initiatives and many Viadrina service departments and others are represented.
  • 2:15 pm - 3 pm, GD HS6, Introduction to Moodle, viaCampus and Wi-Fi in German
    The technicians from the Information, Communication and Multimedia Centre (IKMZ) will present the learning platform Moodle and the campus management system viaCampus. You will also find information on how to use the Wi-Fi on campus.
  • 3:15 pm - 4 pm, GD HS6, Introduction to Moodle, viaCampus and Wi-Fi in English
    The technicians from the Information, Communication and Multimedia Centre (IKMZ) will present the learning platform Moodle and the campus management system viaCampus. You will also find information on how to use the WLAN on campus.

    The Lord Mayor of Frankfurt (Oder) Dr Axel Strasser, the Vice President of the Viadrina Janine Nuyken and the Head of the Central Student Advisory Service Marianne Tatschner, welcome you to the start of your studies in the Mensa.
    Get to know your future fellow students in a convivial atmosphere with finger food!
  • From 6:30 pm, in front of GD, Barhopping with all three Student Councils
    In the evening, the student councils will lead groups through the best bars in Frankfurt – perfect for meeting new people and relaxing at the end of your first day at university. Afterwards, there is an optional After-Show Party at the Havana Bar from 10 pm.

    The Marshmallow Pre-Party is a relaxed evening event at Winterhafen with a bonfire and music. Get to know each other and enjoy free marshmallows together. Afterwards, the student councils will accompany you to the freshers' party at KUMA.
