New AI competence module ‘Foundations of GenAI’ launches in the winter term
From 16 October 2026, Prof. Dr Charlotte Köhler will be offering the new AI skills module ‘Foundations of GenAI’ during the winter semester.
The module is open to all students at the Viadrina – regardless of their degree programme or stage of study, whether at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. It consists of a lecture (Knowledge, Fridays 9.00–11.00) and a seminar (Competencies, Fridays 11.00–13.00).
In the ‘Knowledge’ section, external speakers from the worlds of research and practice will provide insights into various fields of application and perspectives on generative AI. Staff at the Viadrina and other interested parties are also very welcome to attend these lectures.
