Happy vibes at the International Summer Festival
Dances from Japan and Colombia, Ukrainian singing, traditional costumes from Poland, Korean characters, plus delicacies and information from the many home countries of Viadrina students: All of this could be experienced at the International Summer Festival on 9 July 2025. An exuberant atmosphere prevailed in the foyer of the Gräfin-Dönhoff-Building.
The summer edition of the International Day provided plenty of good humour. The event organised by the Wiwi Student Council, the Viadrina Consulting Group (VCG) and the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) began with information stands set up by international students, where they provided information about their countries, cultures and universities - including tastings of typical local food and drinks. At lunchtime, the stage programme with some elaborately rehearsed dances and singing was a rousing experience.

In the afternoon, students then reported on their experiences during a semester abroad at an information event organised in cooperation with the Viadrina International Affairs.
