European Values in Context: Understanding Sociocultural Worlds

This graduate seminar examines how culture, institutions, and ecological environments jointly shape societies’ values, moral systems, political trajectories, and levels of well-being. Drawing on theories from cultural psychology, political sociology, and ecological anthropology, the course introduces students to major frameworks while engaging with empirical research using global datasets.
