Staff Training Day

Staff Training Week 2025 at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany, took place from September 24 to 26, focusing on the theme “Mastering Challenges in International Higher Education.”

The Staff Week featured interactive workshops addressing key topics such as using digital tools without becoming overwhelmed, bridging the gap between digitalization and generational differences, and effectively engaging with digital natives.

In addition to the academic program, participants enjoyed a variety of cultural and social activities in Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice, located on the German-Polish border:

• Campus and city tour of Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice
• Visit to the tower of St. Mary’s Church with a panoramic view over both cities
• Boat tour on the River Oder
• Optional visit to Berlin
