Antonio Carbone Guest stay: 1 September 2020 - 31 March 2021 Antonio Carbone received his PhD with a dissertation on the influence of epidemics on urban space and imaginaries in Buenos Aires in the second half of the nineteenth century. He was member of the interdisciplinary graduate school “The World in the City” at the Technische Universität Berlin and worked as lecturer in the global history department of the Freie Universität Berlin. In his current research project, he is concerned with the history of the emergence of European and global concepts of South and of their influence on different ideas and projects of European integration in the post-war period. |
