Academic Writing:

Module 1: Academic Writing Step by Step (6 ECTS) - 26.04., 10.05., 24.05., 14.06., 28.06 - 10 am to 3 pm

This seminar invites any student who wants to acquire or hone their academic-writing skills. You will be guided through the whole writing process, starting with your topic selection, and ending with the final polish of your paper. You will learn valuable methods and strategies, and gain a thorough understanding of the academic writing process and its several stages. And, not least, you will learn a lot about yourself as a writer, and understand much better how you can organise your personal writing process to your own liking. As a result you will be able to write your papers more productively and competently.

Naturally, you will write a lot (A LOT!) in the course of the semester - during and between sessions. So, please, take that into account when scheduling your semester plan.

Module 2: Coaching Writing (3 ECTS) - 17.05., 18.05. - 10 am to 5 pm
This two-day seminar offers a brief introduction to writing coaching. Participants will explore the role of a writing coach, typical coaching sessions, effective strategies for writers, and the benefits of collaborative writing discussions. The seminar appeals to those aiming to improve communication skills, pursue writing consultancy roles, or explore careers involving writing, coaching, feedback, or teamwork.

This seminar emphasizes the importance of team competence for university graduates in various professions. Through immersive team experiences, theoretical foundations, and reflective sessions, participants collaborate on group processes, project management, and execute their projects. Facilitators guide critical examination of concepts like group dynamics and project management. The seminar includes foundational phases, autonomous group work, and a final presentation, allowing students to focus on teamwork, project development, and relevant innovative projects, enhancing engagement and practical skills.

Module 2: Designing, Facilitating, Presenting: How to Run a Workshop (6 ECTS) - 16.04, 23.04, 30.04, 21.05, 28.05, 18.06, 25.06 - 1 pm - 4 pm

In small groups, students plan and execute real workshops, refining teamwork and translating theory into practice.
