Studying Abroad

Studying abroad is becoming increasingly important for students and is even an obligatory part of certain degree programmes at Viadrina. A stay abroad is not only useful for your career opportunities, it further provides the opportunity to improve your command of foreign languages and get to know different cultures and education systems.

For disabled or chronically ill students careful planning of your stay abroad is important. You should check for accessibility at the university of your choice. If you consider applying for a scholarship, two years of preparation might be necessary.

The counseling team will gladly support you in planning and organising your term abroad. In cooperation with the “Career Center” we can assist with financing you stay abroad or contact the university abroad regarding accessibility.
Further information and support on studying abroad, e.g. a list of partner universities, is provided by Viadrina’s international office.
