Special Erasmus+ support for disabled students/graduates

Students who are at least 50% disabled can apply for special funding for their internship abroad. This additional funding can either be granted as a fixed sum or on the basis of actual costs.

Option I: Fixed sum for severely disabled students

Instead of the usual Erasmus+ support you receive the highest monthly rate for your group of countries:

Group I: EUR 700 (instead of EUR 392)
Group II: EUR 650 (instead of EUR 341)
Group III: EUR 600 (instead of EUR 290)

After you have received approval for the usual Erasmus+ support, you can apply for the fixed sum for severely disabled students.

Option II: special funding for severely disabled students on the basis of actual costs

An application for special funding for severely disabled students on the basis of actual costs can only be made if the costs exceed the highest monthly rate for the country group (see above). The application is to be made on the basis of documentation provided by you and covers the additional costs arising up to a maximum of EUR 10,000. Support is given for disability-related additional costs applied for in connection with an Erasmus+ period abroad as long as these are not supported by other national agencies (health insurance, social welfare offices etc.).

After you have received approval for the usual Erasmus+ support, you can apply for special funding for severely disabled students on the basis of actual costs.
