Peer writing tutors from all over the world  joined us for the European Peer Writing Tutor Day.

The European Peer Tutor Day was a special educational day for peer writingr tutors from different writing centers. The event started with an educational training day on 18th July 2014 at 10 am, organized by German and Polish peer tutors from the European University Viadrina and the University of Łódź. The training  focused on exchanging knowledge and experiences with different academic writing cultures, tutoring conferences/consultations and other aspects concerning peer tutor work at a writing center. A dinner was  organized in Slubice, on the polish side of the river.

The second part of this pre-conference event  continued on Saturday (19th July) from 10 am till 2 pm. Within this time frame we reviewed the educational training day and discussed and started possible future collaborations.

It was great to provide a platform for exchange and collaboration for peer tutors from all over the world!
