Family affairs

The European University Viadrina is a family friendly university that supports students and staff with children or close relatives in need of care. The university provides a workplace culture in which students and staff can achieve a balance between their scientific activity, studies or job and family life. Since 2014 the university is a member of the Best practice-Club “Familie in der Hochschule”.

The University offers a family-friendly infrastructure as well as counseling and support from the Family representative of the Viadrina. Information regarding international academics, researchers and PhD-Students with family responsiblities can be find on the webpages of the "Familienbüro" of the Viadrina.
