Safeguarding Good Research Practice

„Each researcher at the European University Viadrina has the responsibility to assure that his or her own behavior conforms with the principles of good research practice.”
Rules of good research practice of the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder)
November 3, 2021, § 1

The European University Viadrina is committed to safeguarding good research practice and imparts to its members and affiliates the Rules of Good Research Practice in a guideline enacted by the Senate of the Viadrina on November 3, 2021.
The Viadrina does not tolerate scientific misconduct and actively pursues any tangible suspicion thereof. To this goal, the Senate has enacted the Statutes Regarding the Prevention of Scientific Misconduct and the Process in Case of Suspicion of Scientific Misconduct (Satzung zur Vermeidung wissenschaftlichen Fehlverhaltens und zum Verfahren bei Verdacht auf wissenschaftliches Fehlverhalten) on November 3, 2021.

With the Statutes and the Guideline, the Viadrina implements the codex Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Research Practice of the German Research Foundation (DFG).
