5 Steps to the Viadrina (Master programs)

Important

If you are a German passport holder (regardless whether this is your only citizenship or you have other citizenships apart from this) please apply according to the rules for Germans only, even if you possess a foreign certificate of aptitude for higher education.

 

1. Step:

  • Triple Master Media-Communication-Culture
    • Joint degree within the Master program Intercultural Communication Studies between the European University Viadrina, the University Nizza Sophia Antipolis (France) and the University St. Kliment Ohridski (Bulgaria). 
  • Double Master International Finance
    • Joint degree within the Master program International Business Administration with emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Controlling & Taxation
  • Triple Master Management & Marketing
    • Joint degree within the Master program International Business Administration with emphasis on Management and Marketing

Fee- Based Continuing Education Degrees

2. Step:
Preparation

Please prepare all necessary documents and forms for your application.

 

3. Step:
Application

If you do not have a German university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) ... if you have a German universty degree (Bachelor or equivalent)...

and you want to apply for a study program with a restricted number of places (numerus clausus), please send your application documents to:

and you want to study in a program without a restricted number of openings (numerus clausus), you can register directly.

4. Step:
Enrollment

You can enroll after you have received your letter of acceptance. For your enrollment please bring all  documents mentioned in your letter of acceptance.

If you are going to study in a program with a unrestricted number of places (numerus clausus), you will find the necessary documents for your enrollment on the application page of the Viadrina website.

 

5. Step:
Comply with the formalities

You must have valid health insurance, to enroll at a German university, you need to have a valid health insurance. EU citizens do not need  a German health insurance; European health insurance is valid and sufficient. You can order the European Health Insurance card from the insurance company in your home country.

Prospective international students from outside the European Union need to apply for a German health insurance policy. You will find further information in the FAQ (question 17).
