5 Steps to the Viadrina (Master programs)

If you are a German passport holder (regardless whether this is your only citizenship or you have other citizenships apart from this) please apply according to the rules for Germans only, even if you possess a foreign certificate of aptitude for higher education.

You can enroll after you have received your letter of acceptance. For your enrollment please bring all documents mentioned in your letter of acceptance. If you are going to study in a program with a unrestricted number of places (numerus clausus), you will find the necessary documents for your enrollment on the application page of the Viadrina website. |

5. Step: |

You must have valid health insurance, to enroll at a German university, you need to have a valid health insurance. EU citizens do not need a German health insurance; European health insurance is valid and sufficient. You can order the European Health Insurance card from the insurance company in your home country. Prospective international students from outside the European Union need to apply for a German health insurance policy. You will find further information in the FAQ (question 17). |
