If you are a German passport holder (regardless whether this is your only citizenship or you have other citizenships apart from this) please apply according to the rules for Germans only, even if you possess a foreign certificate of aptitude for higher education.

*Applications for the summer semester are only possible for the bachelor program in Social and Cultural Sciences.
Please make sure that your application documents arrived to the correct address by the deadline. Sending them by mail by the day of the deadline is not sufficient.

You must have valid health insurance, to enroll at a German university, you need to have a valid health insurance. EU citizens do not need a German health insurance; European health insurance is valid and sufficient. You can order the European Health Insurance card from the insurance company in your home country. Prospective international students from outside the European Union need to apply for a German health insurance policy. You will find further information in the FAQ (question 17). |
