Information about the Masterprogram
Academic Calender 2005/2006
Winter semester: 19. September – 16. December 2005
Summer semester: 3. January – 14. June 2006
Due to the fact that academic year at Sup De Co is composed of 10 sessions, you can choose when to begin your studies. However, we do recommend you to begin in March (summer semester) or October (winter semester).
Pre-departure
After being selected by the Department of International Affairs as a candidate, you will be invited to attend a group discussion. At the group discussion, you will confirm your acceptance into the program and receive further documents and information.
Master of Business Administration
The academic year is composed of 10 sessions (session 0-9). Each session is three weeks in length and is worth 6 ECTS Credits. Courses are offered in English and French.
Two compulsory courses (Modules Obligatoires), four elective courses (Management Électifs), and two language tests (Examens de Compétence) will need to be completed during the course of your study at the ESC. As a rule, you will generally need to complete various assignments to receive certificates of achievement (presentations, essays and final exams).
In addition, you will have to submit a master's paper (Mémoire de Master). Possible topics include Supply Chain Management, Controlling, Economy, Human Ressource Management, International Marketing, Strategic Management, Finance – Financial Market, and Information Technology.
Internship
An 18-week internship ( stage ) is also part of the ESC Reims year abroad. Although the application process is purely your responsibilty, the Sup De Co Reims will assist you in searching for an internship.
Useful information
Housing:
You can find information about housing on the homepage of our partner university (International => Practical Information => Accommodation). As an exchange student in France, you are entitled to receive a rent subsidy. To apply for the rent subsidy, you will have to go to the Caisses d'Allocations Familiale s (CAF). It is very likely that you will need documents from Germany such as your birth certificate.
Health Insurance
Inquire by your health insurance provider about coverage during your intended stay abroad. Forms E111 or E128, the health insurance forms of the European Union, which provide proof of coverage, are available from your health insurance provider.
