Useful information

Housing
Student residence halls are available, but they are also quite expensive. It is highly recommended to establish contact with exchange students already studying at ESC Montpellier for housing possibilities. In case this is not possible or not successful, there are blackboards at the partner university with advertisements for flats and apartments.
As an exchange student in France, you are entitled to a rent subsidy. To apply, you will have to go to the Caisses d'Allocations Familiale s (CAF). It is very likely that you will need documents from Germany such as your birth certificate.

Health insurance
Inquire by your health insurance provider about coverage during your intended stay abroad. Forms E111 or E128 of the European Union, which provide proof of coverage, are available from your health insurance provider.
