Excursion for International and German Doctoral Students featuring soft skills workshops

14-16 July 2011 (Thursday afternoon to Saturday afternoon), „Altes Haus“ Potsdam

En­cour­aged by last year's great suc­cess the Vi­ad­rina Cen­ter for Gradu­ate Stud­ies will again of­fer the "Tools!" ex­cur­sion for In­ter­na­tion­al and Ger­man Doc­tor­al Stu­dents in 2011.

From time man­age­ment via meth­ods of sci­entif­ic writ­ing to pub­lic­a­tion strategies the com­pact work­shops im­part valu­able tools for the suc­cess­ful ac­com­plish­ment of a doc­tor­ate. Bey­ond that the ex­cur­sion of­fers an ideal en­vir­on­ment for net­work­ing and the build­ing of aca­dem­ic peer coach­ing groups.

Ac­co­mod­a­tion and work­shop pro­gram are free of charge for doc­tor­al stu­dents from the Vi­ad­rina (only a small con­tri­bu­tion to food - ca. 15 Euro - is re­ques­ted). In­ter­na­tion­al and Ger­man Doc­tor­al Stu­dents are cor­di­ally in­vited to par­ti­cip­ate!
