Problems with writing (in German)? In cooperation with the Viadrina´s writing center we offer individual advice on scientific writing in German for international students. For more information please check the webpages of the writing center.
Doctoral studies with children? Yes, you can! The European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) is a family-friendly university – we support young parents. Learn everything about kindergartens, financial aid and other offers for PhD students with children from our pages on studying with children and contact the Viadrina´s family service (page in German).
Want to learn German? You definitely should! Even if you intend to conduct your research and write your PhD in English, Polish, French etc. – learning some German will be very helpful for your work and life in Frankfurt (Oder). The more German you speak, the easier it will be for you to organise your studies – and the more fun you´re going to have here!
