About Us

The Viadrina Center for Graduate Studies is the central service organisation for young scholars at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). The Viadrina CGS was established to create an optimal work environment for doctoral students and postdocs of all disciplines and to support young scholars who are interested in doing a doctorate at the Viadrina.

The Viadrina Center for Graduate Studies

• provides information and advice on all questions concerning doctoral studies at Viadrina;
• organises training courses on key qualifications relevant for postgraduates;
• gives information on scholarships and funding;
• offers information on events and activities concerning young scholars;
• coordinates the further development of the graduate education at Viadrina;
• supports you in all aspects relevant to your research and work at Viadrina.

The Viadrina Center for Graduate Studies closely cooperates with the Viadrina´s International Office. Please visit the website of the International Office for practical information on studying at Viadrina and living in Frankfurt (Oder).
