Prof. Dr. Eva Kocher has a PhD in employment and labour law and wrote her habilitation on questions of comparative procedural law, a book that envisages the societal functions of court procedures in a transnational and transdisciplinary perspective. She directed the German team of the comparative and interdisciplinary research group “Ester”, which analysed the regulatory function of private Codes of Conduct and International Framework Agreements in European transnational enterprises and their role for the constitutionalisation of transnational law. She is also working on the constitutionalisation of European law, particularly on collective social rights in the law of the European union. She currently directs a project on effective regulation of lifecycle passages in employment and social security law.
