Prof. Dr. Eva Koch­er has a PhD in employ­ment and labour law and wrote her habili­tation on questions of compar­a­tive procedural law, a book that envis­ages the societal functions of court procedures in a transnational and transdisciplinary perspective. She di­rected the German team of the compar­a­tive and in­ter­disciplinary research group “Ester”, which anal­ysed the reg­ulatory function of private Codes of Conduct and International Framework Agree­ments in Eu­ropean transnational enterprises and their role for the constitution­ali­sa­tion of transnational law. She is also working on the constitution­ali­sa­tion of Eu­ropean law, partic­ularly on col­lective social rights in the law of the Eu­ropean union. She currently di­rects a project on ef­fective reg­u­lation of lifecycle passages in employ­ment and social secu­rity law.
